"Garnett Hamilton at Hamcrest Inspections was recommended to us by a friend who had enlisted Garnett on more than one house inspection. Garnett was accommodating in the allowing us to book the inspection on the weekend as my boyfriend was out of the province during the week. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions we had. He had a high attention to detail and pointed out things I never would have thought to look at. During the attic inspection, vermiculite was found and due to Health and Safety reasons, a proper inspection was not able to be done. After the inspection we had the vermiculite tested in which the results were negative for asbestos. We were very thankful that Garnett agreed to come back to inspect the attic and did not charge us for the inconvenience. The report we received was very informative with lots of extra reading material. We also loved the fact that the report contained pictures of the things that needed attention, especially for areas such as the roof where visibility at ground level is very limited. We would recommend Garnett to anyone looking for a professional home inspection and would not hesitate to use his services again in the future. "
